Classes in London
Each class begins with a thorough warm-up, including mat work. A carefully selected set of exercises is designed to improve mobility, strengthen the abdominal area and the back, improve posture, general co-ordination and flow of movement.
The beginners classes cover basic movements, an understanding of the rhythmic phrasing in the music and how to put movements together to create simple dances.
The intermediate classes give a deeper understanding of how to interpret the music of the various forms within the dance using more complex and refined movements. Each term covers a specific theme.
The advanced classes help to deepen interpretative and choreographic skills and strengthen interpretation and presentation.
Occasionally performance groups for advanced dancers are held.
